What is the program format?
Similar to the VIRTUAL WHALE WATCH format, it´s a one-hour simulated journey to POLAR REGIONS. Through multi-media, props, artifacts, and activities, we explore the history, land, animals, and people of the arctic & antarctic areas, with an emphasis on our state of Alaska. Hands-on activities engage students during the program.
How large an area is needed?
A gym or open resource room allows for the most learning stations, but any large room will do.
What ages?
The elementary program is geared toward grades K-2 and a more play-oriented program for preschool - kindergarten.
